Like so many others, I've found this worthless piece of junk has about a 3-month lifespan before it stops working. I've had two of them die in exactly the same way.
Save your money, don't support this badly designed and overpriced peice of junk

This piece of junk of a water pic never worked right.
The adjustment on the stength of the water pressure never worked.
It's on full blast all the time!
The contraption is so loud that it sounds like a jack hammer.

I HAVE USED WATERPIK FOR THIRTY YEARS. THIS NEW ONE, WP-72, WORKS JUST LIKE THE OLD ONE EXCEPT IT HAS BETTER CONNECTIONS ON THE HOSE. YOU JUST GET IT PRIMED AND GO. EXCELLENT PRODUCT.I HAVE BEEN USING THIS ONE FOR SIX MONTHS ANDF EXPECT NO PROBLEMS.Customer Review: Excellent & durable!

Used daily since May 2006 (now Nov 2010) and it has worked flawlessly. A couple of the attachments broke (ones I don't use) as a result of moving. Excellent product! i thought it might last 1 year. it's been 4 & 1/2 and still going strong.Customer Review: Bad design

Well my second one just quit. The first unit lasted about six months. I sent it back to waterpik and they gave me a new one. I have owned water piks that have lasted ten years. What went wrong? this is just junk.
