Customer Reviews of Waterpik Waterflosser Cordless Rechargeable WP-360W

Customer Review: broke after 2 weeks
Summary: 1 Stars

This item stopped functioning within two weeks of its arrival at my home. To be fair, after e mailing the Waterpik company, they agreed to send another Waterpik to me after 15 days (to date the item has not arrived). The water reservoir is too small for the unit, and requires two fills, at least, to properly cleanse the teeth and gums. The charger ran out after one or two uses, even the first few days, in spite of the fact that I charged it for 16 hours the first time, as advised in the instruction manual, and had to be recharged again over night. This item is made in China, home of (lately) massive product recalls all over the world. This item lacks product integrity, certainly won't improve China's current standing in the world of manufacturing, and, I think, the Waterpik company lacks integrity for selling this thing. Maybe their other products are good. This one isn't.

Customer Review: Plenty good enough
Summary: 4 Stars

Waterpik WP-360W Hand-held Cordless Rechargeable Dental Water Jet This is the 3rd of these that I have owned. The first 2 lasted about 1 year each. The first stopped being able to be charged, the second because something became disconnected internally and it wouldn't pump any more. This device cost me less than $30, far less than the $102 I pay for teeth cleaning twice a year and far less than the jaw bone implant I had before I started using a waterpik. It fits my hand nicely and is easy to store in my small bathroom and I clean between my teeth and gum in one fill of the reservoir. I start by brushing my teeth, then flossing, then waterpik and finally use a mouth rinse to disinfect. I will definitely buy another when the current one stops working.

Customer Review: Poor Support-but got better
Summary: 1 Stars

Worked nicely for two & a half months. Then it quit. "Warranty" can be accessed only through website. No phone support. I filled out the web form and received a email asking for more information, but have not heard back in over a month.

Much Later:
I filled out the webform a second time and again got an email asking for more information. I responded again and again got no response for several months. My son (with more geek cred than I) suggested that they might not be getting my email responses, so I sent a new response from my work email. I got an immediate response and a new water pik that holds a charge well and still works. It is a little leaky and not as powerful as the home model, but it will fit in a largish purse and provide relief if I get food stuck between my teeth while traveling. I would upgrade my rating to a 3.

Customer Review: Third in three years, and I still like it
Summary: 4 Stars

Ok, I am now using my third portable waterpik. I think the reason for the battery problem is where they put the charging socket, on the front of the unit where water can often enter. The rubber socket cover is not adequate to keep water out. Nevertheless, I travel often and use my waterpik after every possible meal, and swear using them has saved me thousands in potential dental bills. I used to use the plug in kind and they are hands down 100 times better, but if you can't use an ac model, then this is the way to go. They do have a two year warranty. I think I will send two of them back together and I'll let you know whether the warranty is honored. Either way I'll continue using one and just consider it a disposable item. Easy annual gift from one of my kids! Also, if your kids have braces a Waterpik is a must!

Customer Review: Had this for a long time, would buy again without hesitation
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had this product for two years, I believe. I love it and would buy it again. I read all the reviews before purchase and there were many negative comments, but I resonated with some positive reviewers personalities and bought it anyway. So glad I did!

Takes your teeth to a new level of clean. Follow the directions - use the weaker nozzle first, so your gums get used to the pressure. I use this at least three times a week. I've had no issue with charging or usage. It's small and easy to put in a drawer or on your vanity.

In the beginning, I filled it twice during each use, which is no big deal. Now I have it down pat and finish on one fill. That's the benefit of WAITING UNTIL YOU KNOW HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT to review it. I would buy it again without hesitation.
