Customer Reviews of Wet-Stop3 Bedwetting Alarm System (Green)Customer Review: Very Impressed Summary: 5 Stars
After reading a couple of the negative reviews, I was somewhat concerned about purchasing this product, but was prepared to try anything at this point. We have an 8 year old son who has had trouble with bedwetting due to being a deep sleeper. We had visited doctors who prescribed special medicines (worthless) and urologists who indicated it would just take its course. We were told a bedwetting alarm would be the best option, so did some research and settled on this one.
A couple reviewers complained about a flimsy snap and inaudible alarms. That is simply not the case. The alarm is really loud.....enough that we actually turned off that setting and only use the vibrator. Not only is the vibration enough to wake up my son, but the sound of the vibration could be heard one floor away with the TV on.
Our son has fully owned the process of attaching and removing the alarm connections. I was afraid he would rip off the connection and thereby break the snap, but have had absolutely no issues.
It is not an overnight success, but I am amazed how many dry nights he has had. It's been about a month of using the alarm now, and he has been mostly dry since week 2.
Customer Review: Awesome product Summary: 5 Stars
I truely believe this system works giving a child the power and ultimate satisfaction when they wake up wet or dry to put STICKER ON THE PAGE. I was waking up with our 5 year old daughter 1 week before the alarm came in the mail every 3 hours and having her go. During that 1 week she had 2 accidents. When the alarm came in I held the sensor in water and my daughter was able to feel how it would feel if she was wet. She had NO Accidents through wearing the alarm for 2 weeks. She has been dry now EVERY night for going on 9 weeks. We have now taken the alarm off of her at night. I am a nurse and would definately recommend this to anyone who is having problems with bedwetting before resorting to trips to the doctor about this problem or starting your child on medication. The family practice doctor I work for also recommends some type of alarm system for this problem for a child before giving an option of medication to parents. Also the price of the alarm was worth it and I never had a problem with it breaking or not working when it was soppose to. Looking at other alarms they are very expensive and claim to do the same job as this alarm. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!
Customer Review: Worried from past reviews, but so very thankful we went ahead with it Summary: 5 Stars
When our son turned 7 years old, we had enough of waiting for him to grow out ofthe bedwetting. Our pediatrician recommended an alarm, and we purchased the Potty Pager for $75 since it only vibrated and did not have a cord or sound to wake his brother. We sent it back within 2 weeks as the sensors were extrmely small and took quite a bit of moisture to set it off. The batteries began to corrode already, and our son didn't want to wake up because the vibration "felt good."
So, we purchased the WetStop. This worked amazingly well. The sensor was large enough and sensitive enough to go off as soon as he began to pee. Sometimes it would even go off when he was just putting it on because his hands were damp from just washing them. Within a few days he began to have dry nights, and within a few weeks he was completely dry. He has now been sleeping without the alarm for a week and has had no problems.
The sound wasn't too loud that his brother slept through it, but since the alarm part is next to his ear and vibrates, it woke him up quickly, and he is an extremely deep sleeper. I just wish we hadn't waited so long to purchase the alarm!
Customer Review: Absolutely Amazing! Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered this item for my 6-year-old grandson, who was unable to get through the night without wetting...a lot. He was embarrassed about wearing a pull-up to bed every night, but my daughter didn't want to have to change the sheets every day. This product seemed to have the best reviews so we decided to give it a try.
My daughter said the first night was horrible! The alarm went off at least 6 times and he was slightly wet each time, so she changed his pullup, he used the toilet and went back to bed. The next morning she was tired and grumpy, but determined to stick it out. The second night the alarm only went off twice, the third, fourth and fifth nights just once. The pull-ups had run out, so the fifth night he wore just underpants under his pajamas, and they were only the tiniest bit wet when he got up in the night to use the toilet. After that, the alarm has never gone off again. My daughter plans to use the alarm for at least another month, but it seems that my grandson is no longer a bedwetter. She is thrilled, he is thrilled, and I am thrilled!
I would recommend this system to anyone. We think of it as a miracle worker!
Customer Review: Alarm plus book is best Summary: 5 Stars
A child who wets the bed should be treated with respect and empathy. Bedwetting is an involuntary response while sleeping -NOT DUE TO LAZINESS. Using an alarm took 2 months but it worked wonders for my child. From wet every night to completely dry every night!
My child wore the alarm every single night for ten weeks. At the end of week 10, he had 14 dry days in a row! It teaches the brain to recognize the full bladder signal while sleeping.
we used the children's book, Prince Bravery and Grace - Attack of the Wet Knights.Prince Bravery & Grace: Attack of the Wet Knights It is the story of a young prince who struggles with "the Wet Knights" and eventually defeats them by using an alarm. The book is full of dragons and knights and it provides a light hearted look at the challenges of defeating "the Wet Knights." It's a fun way to talk about stopping bedwetting. [...]
You can solve your childs bedwetting, too. Get the book Prince Bravery & Grace: Attack of the Wet Knights and an alarm -its the best decision i ever made.
