I bought this collection of perfumes for my mom (who is a perfume fanatic) for Mother's Day to accompany a couple of other small gifts. I thought I remembered that she was especially fond of Tresor but wasn't positive, so I decided to go with something like this collection, on the off chance that I was mistaken. This way, I figured she'd surely find at least one fragrance she likes among the five. (Luckily, she seemed to love them all!)
One thing to be aware of is the size dimensions. I was surprised at first by just how small the box is. In my experience with these types of mini collections, the boxes are normally about the size of a rectangular box of chocolates. This collection is much smaller, a square shape more like one of those miniature boxes of chocolates kids hand out at school for Valentine's Day. The perfumes also seem smaller than most miniatures. However, this is a "haute" collection, so I suppose there is a certain quality over quantity element at play. That's why I don't let the size affect my rating. These are mini-minis, but five really exquisite fragrances. And, as I understand it, the Ralph Lauren fragrance (Safari) is no longer available to buy individually.
One more thing: these are not spray bottles. If you prefer to spray on the fragrance as opposed to applying it directly to the skin with the stopper, I'm sure you could always purchase a sprayer or atomizer.
