Customer Reviews of Woolite Dry Cleaner's Secret Dry Cleaning Cloths, 14-Count Box

Customer Review: Almost as good as professional dry cleaning
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a fun product to use. When you open the patch, you get a barely moist paper cloth. Then a doubt creeps in. After all, how can a single moist paper cloth clean the dirt off of my clothes in 20 minutes worth of drying?

After 20 minutes, my clothes were fresh smelling and clean. It was really impressive.

I higly recommend this product for light dry cleaning. But if you must get a heavy duty professional quality dry cleaning, then the professional dry cleaning is still the best. After all, they use industrial grade concentrated chemicals which can't be used in consumer products.

Highly Recommended (works really well):
1)Dark shirts with no heavy stains.
2)Dark pants with no heavy stains.

recommended (works reasonably well):
1)Light shirts with no heavy stains.
2)Light pants with no heavy stains.

Leave it to professional dry cleaners:
1)Any cloths with heavy stains.
2)Jackets and heavy clothing.
3)Any important clothing which must have spotless cleaning.

Customer Review: Prefer Dryel
Summary: 2 Stars

I have tried Woolite Dry Cleaner as well as Dryel. I prefer Dryel because it is more effective at cleaning your clothes. Dryel comes with a spot treater and a clothes bag; you treat any spots and put up to four articles of clothes into the bag, and then toss it in the dryer. For both the Woolite and Dryle products, however, putting a load of wet clothes along with the dry cleaned garments seem to make the system more effective. Take the clothes out immediately after the dryer stops and hang them to prevent wrinkles. Pants may need to be pressed with a hot steam iron to get a nice crease in them.

Lastly, do not expect miracles. The Dryel will only work on lightly-stained clothes; the Woolite only freshens up items as far as I can tell. Take moderately-stained items to be dry-cleaned. My fear is that I'll cook a stain in using Dryel or Woolite. But either product will save you a few trips to the dry-cleaners, and that can save you tons of money pretty quickly, especially as dry cleaning ruins your clothes.

Customer Review: Very overpriced, ineffective at removing stains, Dryel is better
Summary: 2 Stars

I purchased this product based on the many positive reviews here, and I was very disappointed.
I followed the directions for the product and used one cloth for one two-piece suit. The suit had no stains, but it did have a light odor under the arms, which this "cleaning" cloth did not remove or even mask. The only thing this cloth did was give the whole suit a very light fragrance. I don't see how this would remove any staining at all.
If you are looking for something to re-fresh your clothing, I would recommend tossing your clothing in the dryer for 15 min with a microfiber (lint-free) damp cloth with a couple of sprays of your favorite perfume. The effect will be the same, and you will save money and save the environment another piece of trash.
I have tried Dryel in the past for home dry-cleaning and I am going to go back to it. Dryel makes a much more effective product that actually CLEANS!
I would not recommend this product!

Customer Review: Awesome for keeping jeans looking new
Summary: 5 Stars

I wear Levi's 501 shrink-to-fits because they look great... as long as you don't wash or shrink them. So I buy them true to size and they stay nice and dark and fit great, again, as long as I don't wash them.

Therefore, I never wash them, I just rotate and air out the 3-4 pairs I own.

So ever since I started wearing these, I've been looking for ways of cleaning them without shrinking them or losing their look. I've tried putting them in the freezer, quick-washing them with woolite black and cold water, taking them to the dry-cleaners... but none of those worked. My jeans would always end up shrunken or losing some color and looking like regular cheap levi's, and smelling a little funky.

Until now. I throw my levi's in the dryer, buttoned up and inside out, with one of these sheets for 20 minutes and they come out clean, smelling fresh and still looking new.

Customer Review: Met my expectations
Summary: 4 Stars

I'm happy I had the option to buy this product using Subscribe and Save. If I clean 4 garmets at a time, as it says I can, it's costing me around $0.30 a piece. The quality of the cleaning is adequate for my needs - I have light wool/synthetic suits I had custom-made abroad and wear suits 5 days a week. The process is quick and easy - just pop it in the dryer, spot clean with the included cloth if necessary. The only downsides are: 1) I worry about getting the cleaning material on my hands - definitely wash them right away and 2) unlike the dry cleaner, this kit won't pleat your pants! I've already cleaned 8 garments with good, fresh smelling and "stiff but still soft" feeling results. I'll keep this on my Subscribe and Save and may even need to bump up my next shipment! Thanks, Amazon.
