I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before purchasing the Yogourmet Multi Electric Yogurt Maker with CBA Starter. I wanted to make my own yogurt so that I would know what was going into it. The store bought ones are full of sugar, which I do not eat. I decided to go with the Yogourmet Yogurt Maker, mainly because of how much you could make at one time, and the fact that you only had the one container to clean. Also, I liked the idea of the water bath. The only thing I don't like about the Yogourmet Yogurt Maker is that the yogurt container is hard to remove from the outer vessel. It would have been nice if they had added a handle to assist in removing the container full of yogurt. It can be a bit tricky to remove it when the yogurt is finished. The thermometer is very tiny and hard to read, but that is a minor problem, which I am going to purchase a digital thermometer to fix.
Other than that, I have no complaints about the Yogourmet Yogurt Maker. It is very well made, and is very easy to use. I have only used mine twice, because it makes so much yogurt, but I already love it. I like to experiment with different milks to see which one I like best. Next time, I will be trying soy milk.
I would highly recommend this product!
