Customer Reviews of Zeno Acne Clearing Device with 60-Count CartridgeCustomer Review: Zeno Summary: 1 StarsI am a Systems Analyst who develops enterprise systems for fortune 500 companies. I mention this to support the fact that I am capable of analyzing this product. And I have suffered from acne for the past 22 years.
I am not able to make the claim that this is a useless product for everyone. But I can say it was completely useless for me. I followed the instructions perfectly and used the product for about two weeks on several pimples. The only outcome was that, a red dot appeared from the burning that would last for about an hour or more.
If you want to try it anyway, I encourage you to buy it from an organization that is very good about their return policy. I think it is very likely you will need to return it. If you are very fortunate, and it works, you will be very disappointed that you will have to replace the tip. This is where the scam comes into play. The manufacturer does not provide any good reason as to why the tip needs to be replaced. After I used it extensively the tip seemed to be unaltered. The device records how many times you use it with that "tip." These "tips" have microchips in them that tell the device how many times to work before terminating your use. These `tips" can be purchased in different usability counts. There is no difference (as far as I can see) in the durability or quality of these "tips"; however, there is a difference in the price. The only reason why you need to replace the tips are to keep giving them money. So, you might think that the product might actually work if the manufacturer thought someone would continue using the product to buy these tips. Maybe it can work for someone. I really doubt it though, based on what I understand about the science behind acne (I am not a doctor). I doubt that this device can be very helpful to anyone. If you just have to try it because you are desperate, make sure you can easily return it.
I bet many of the people who think it is working are experiencing a placebo effect. They want it to work, so when they see some improvement, they think it must be from that cool little gadget that they spend so much money on.
Customer Review: DON'T GET BURNED Summary: 1 StarsWhen I started using Zeno it worked great. After the first time I charged it something happened and the alarm signal did not go off in time. I was burned very badly on my face. It blistered and is scarred. I would definately be careful.
Customer Review: Nobody would believe it - this product is AMAZING! Summary: 5 StarsAt first I was a skeptic, I have a 12 yr old going thru the "awkward" stage, I could not believe it when I saw the results that she was having even after the first use. She has very fair skin and red hair and breaks out easily. Using the Zeno machine is done at bedtime right along with brushing her teeth and her skin once again looks like peaches and cream! No adverse affects. I even got one for myself so now we have two in the house - one for her and one for my purse. Don't leave home without it!!!
Customer Review: Zeno Summary: 4 StarsWorks okay on some blemishes
Customer Review: Hot washcloth better Summary: 3 StarsI bought this gadget about a year ago. I used it a few times and it works, but I've gone back to the old-fashioned washcloth dipped in hot tap water. Applying a damp, hot compress to deep pimples takes away the pain and will help them heal just like the Zeno. If you like gadgets, you'll probably like it. I decided it was more trouble and costly than I had hoped.
