I bought the Bare Escentuals mineral makeup about a month ago, and love it! I wanted to get some new eyeshadow, and since I was so impressed with the facial makeup, I decided to try this.
Wow! No creasing at all! The colors are so complimentary to each other. I have never used "professional" brushes for makeup before and now I will use nothing BUT! With the brushes that come with this, and the colors, my eyes looked like they were done by a professional, not kidding! I have always received compliments on my eye shadows, so it's not like I never knew how to apply it, I just didn't use the right products, or tools. Now I find myself putting on makeup (even when I know I am just going to be home by myself and no one is coming over) just because it looks so good!
I also purchased (The Smoky Eyes "V" Kit) but did not like it at all. I have only used that one once, so I guess I should give it a try.

First off my kit was missing the eye liner brush so I have yet to find a brush that works well with the eyeliner. I do believe I will like the eyeliner if ever I can find the right brush.
The only eyeshadow color in this collection that I liked was the Vanilla Sugar. The Peach Puff is orange, the Soft Focus is far too dark for fair skin, it looks like a bruise. I have no idea who can wear these colors but I wouldn't think that anyone who has a fair complexion could.
Save your money and buy the eye shadows individually so that you can better choose colors that blend with your complexion.
I was very disappointed becuase I have fallen head over heels in love with Bare Minerals foundation and Clear Radiance. Mineral Veil is some sort of gossamer pixie dust that was created by angels BUT Get Started Eyes 7 piece kit is NOT worth the money.

Although I really do like the color assortment and it looked LOVELY on the salesgirl's hand, the product is definitely not for all skin tones as she has assured me. Word to the wise: never go by what the color looks like on someone elses hand; they don't have YOUR skin.
I am a "Light" to "Fairly Light" blue eyed blonde, and I am not afraid of a little (or a lot of) color. These however, were just too harsh and orangey for my skin tone. I really wanted them to work too; I tried them in all sorts of combinations, but eventually I had to accept the fact that something a little more neutral along the lines of maybe "Celestine" would work better on my blue undertoned skin.
I strongly reccomend you get yourself down to a A BE Store or even an ULTA or Sephora to actually try these colors before you buy.

This is a great kit for EVERYONE!!! The neutral colors look wonderful on all skin tones.
For new loose mineral users application will take practice.
The brushes are good quality.
Quick tip: If you hold a make-up brush closer to the ferrule (the metal part that attaches the hair to the handle) your color concentration will be heavier than if you were to hold your brush near the end of the handle, where your color concentration will be lighter and more diffused.

I love this eye makeup. The colors are beautiful and the coverage is long lasting. I even like the eyeliner, which is a powder that you combine with water on the brush and then apply. It did take me a few practice sessions to work with the brushes instead of traditional applicators, but now that I'm comfortable with brushes, I prefer them. The colors are very peachy, if that helps anyone. I have blue eyes and red hair, so they work for me.
