I have always had a problem with frizzy hair and not being able to control it. I purchased my new GHD flatiron after throwing away another cheap model that I purchased at a local superstore. I splurged on the new GHD MK4 which I had read a lot of positive reviews about.
It works great! It is easy to use, heats up very quickly and seems very gentle on my hair. I do use a biosilk conditioner before using the flatiron but I probably really don't need to.
I don't use this flatiron to curl my hair, just straighten. It manages to keep my style almost all day without any touch up.
Great product.

My boyfriend bought me this "styler" for Christmas when my CHI died. I have noticed that my hair is getting more damage and split ends with this iron than with the CHI. I do use product prior to applying heat (the same product I used with the CHI) but it hasn't seemed to help. I am going to try the GHD product line and see if this helps resolve some of my issues. Overall, its a good flat iron that gets the job done. Just wished that it was a little gentler on my locks!Customer Review: ghd MK4

I was unsure if I wanted to spend that amount of money on a hair styler but I read the reviews and everyone was so pleased with it so I decided to give it a shot. When I was comparing stylers, I especially wanted one that would not only straighten but curl as well. I got my wish! This thing is wonderful! I would most definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality styler/straightener. Worth the investment! I ordered this flat iron at the recommendation of my hair dresser and I am so glad I did. Aside from the ease of use, and how quick it heats up, I love all the compliments I am receiving. Although it was pricy, it is so worth it. I have yet to try the curl capability, but I am enjoying the silkiness of the straightening for now. Customer Review: Great product

Bought this Styler for my wife for Christmas. She had a wet/dry 3" T3 styler that was just about warn out. She loves this new one, much lighter weight and can straighten and curl with one device.
Highly recommended.
