Complete junk.
Lid gets stuck opening and closing. It's not "touchless" if you have to hit the buttons to force open/close.
Unit makes a ridiculous amount of noise when operating. It's LOUD.
Bags rip/tear when removing as they catch on the sharp edges of the can lid. You can try to cover the inner lid with duck tape but it's still a pain to get full bags out.
It's too big for normal sized trash bags. So you have to put something at the bottom of the can to fill the space (otherwise bags just fall down when they are heavy).
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!

I give this product zero stars. Not only does the touchless sensor not work all the time. It almost never works. The cans design makes it VERY difficult to remove garbage in a trash bag. The bag gets hung up and tars when trying to remove. I purchased this trash can in March with high hopes. I have a family of 5 and so trash is taken out basically every other day, and with this trash can it is a 2 person job to do. The lip that is on it has teeth that grabs the trash that pokes out, which in turn lets the bag rip if you pull too hard. My last touchless can was never a problem at all. I would never buy this can again, the aggravation is just not worth it. :(Customer Review: dont buy unless you love frustration

I am so upset that I bought this horribly designed garbage can. Every time we take a full bag of garbage out it is torn open by the inner lip of the can. Whoever designed this is not very intelligent. We have to fight and struggle to get the full bag out each and every time and are about ready to throw this trash can away. I like this garbage can, and that's something I never thought I'd say. Who "likes" their garbage can?
It looks decent, and they thoughtfully give you the option of using either batteries or an AC adapter. Friends also find it somewhat entertaining, although my friends are probably easily amused.
It's a little noisy, and the inside edge of the plastic on the top of the can does tend to snag the bags when you remove them. But on the plus side, it stays really clean because you don't have to touch the lid to open it. It's also convenient because you don't have to walk over to it to step on a pedal. Mine is at the end of the counter so I can just sort of hover over the can with garbage in my hand, the lid opens, and I drop it in.
I'd definitely buy this again.
