Typically the gel sets in my county cost around $100, then every 2 weeks it's another 35-40. It really adds up but the gel manicures are the best.
At sallys I spotted this kit so I snatched it up, along with a UV light which was about 60 bucks. Less then $100 and I had all I needed to do it myself.
The results are phenomenal, way better than any acrylic or tip set I have tried in the past. I don't really need to use a lot of gel for the first applications or subsequent fill ins. If I had to guess, these little tubs will last me around 4-6 months. Well, if I was just doing it for myself. LOL I did such a great job on my nails that my mother, mother in law, and friends all have me doing their nails this week. Crazy. Maybe I should start charging?
Make sure you buy a UV light!!! I don't think it was this site but another reviewer said they never dried. They won't unless you use a UV light.
